Bed bugs are commonly found in motels, hotels, and boarding houses, and are commonly transported to homes in luggage, second hand furniture and clothing. Bed Bugs generally feed a night, but only require the host to be motionless (generally asleep) for a period of time. Their bite can be severe, particularly to people with soft sensitive skin and can cause adverse skin reaction. Scratching can also result in bites becoming infected.
Treatment of Bed Bugs can be tricky, and requires full cooperation from the customer. A full and thorough inspection of the room or area infested is required, and no items should be removed without seeking advice, due to a threat of spreading the infestation. The treatment we provide is as stipulated in the “Bed Bugs Code Of Practice”.
